Professor David Blanchflower, the leading labour economist and recent member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee from June 2006-May 2009, visits the RSA to discuss how the recession is affecting young people and their future prospects.

Professor Blanchflower, who has published widely on youth labour markets and is currently the Bruce V. Rauner Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College, will warn of the dangers of the growing numbers of young people affected by unemployment.

Joining Professor Blanchflower to discuss these issues will be:
